Though he didn't graduate, Art Buchwald went to the same high school I did. The same high school, btw, that Paul Simon went to and referred to in "Codachrome" as the place where he learned "all the crap" which made him wonder that "he could think at all." It's the high school Buchwald dropped out of to join the Marines.
