Had I driven to Ohio and not flown, I would have checked it out. Maybe next time. The bathroom looks theraputic for constipation suffers. They have a photo above the toilet sure to make you want to shit.
Seriously, I was watching Real Time with Bill Maher last night. The closing rant that New Rules dovetails into was all about the presidential agenda to include 'Intelligent Design' as part of school curriculum. This is, apparently, an answer to the Evolution/Creationism debate.
Could someone explain to me this school of thought, and why it is favored by Neo-Cons?
As I understand it, ID isn't necessarily a fixture of the neo-cons (a tag more associated with a particular foreign policy bent). Rather, concessions to allow ID in the classroom bear more resemblance to the call for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage: placate religious radicals without actually expecting any fundamental change to take place. Sane people (which includes some conservative politicians) know that ID and/or Creationism will NEVER trump actual science - unless we slip into a fresh Dark Age of superstition and mysticism. There are, however, political points to be won. Most people, after all, believe that human beings appeared on this planet all and once and more or less in their present form.

ooo - did you stop by the Dan Quayle Center on the way to Ohio? I've always been tempted...

I am not authorized to view that page.
Let's talk about Bill Maher.
