Bush is only an inch-and-a-half from an asshole.
Case in point:
In making the appointment, Bush was calculating that Senate outrage would be limited and not spill over to confound his nomination of John Roberts as a Supreme Court justice, who he hopes will be in place at the high court by the time it reconvenes October 3.Oh, let it spill.

So, the Dipshit-in-Chief figures he can do whatsoever he damn well pleases because the GOP has Congress by the balls? Okay. But let's not pretend that this won't have consequences. For starters, every President from here on out will look to the "leadership style" of George W. Bush as inspiration and example every time they want to employ the raw power of their office in direct opposition to the will of the people and/or the dictates of reason. And since this new precedent depends upon nobody listening to anyone else, the Dems might as well switch gears NOW and just go into 100% full throttle fuck-you mode. Gang of 14? Kiss my ass. John Roberts? Bite me. Filibuster Everything. Shut down the government.
