Director Jeff Steitzer returns returns to Village Theatre, where he previously directed Making Tracks, Brigadoon, Camelot, Ten Little Indians, The Tempest, The Miser, Eleano, Oliver!, Cabaret, The Mask of Moriarty, After the Fair, and Driving Miss Daisy. In the past 27 years, he has directed over 150 professional productions including World Premieres by Stephen Dietz, Jon Klein, Barbara Field, and John Olive, and U.S. Premieres by David Edgar, Peter Barnes, and Alan Ayckbourn. Recent productions include A Death In The House Next Door To Kathleen Turner's House for Atlanta 's Alliance Theatre, Jumpers at ACT, and Two Gentleman of Verona for the San Jose Rep. In addition to his directing, Jeff is a busy actor who has worked in movies, TV, radio and industrial films. Most recently he was seen in George Bernard Shaw's John Bull's Other Island for GEVA Theatre, as Garroway in Over The Moon at Arizona Theatre Company, and as Senex in …Forum at The 5th Avenue. He can also be heard in the Microsoft Xbox games Halo and Halo 2.
