Random Email

I received two emails out of the blue tonight from the same person, unsigned. I believe they were in response to a post I made on the PerformInk message boards.

Message one:

I read with great amazement some of the stereotypes that liberals in the arts
have of us conservative, pro life, pro bush artists.

As A  Jew and an ex democrat/liberal. I fear that the so called tolerant are elitist snobs, who we ahve much more to fear than any gw bush conservative.

Message two:

i oppose all government funding of the arts

money could eb better sued to feed children

and disabled

I sent a response:

I hope in the world you envision that the children and the disabled that are taken care of by the government (and I hope that they are) have art to enjoy other than the voices only funded because they best serve corporate interests.

And FYI: the trickle-down, supply-side economics of the politicians you support will never feed children or help the disabled unless a corporation can profit from it.

Sorry if you feel attacked or stereotyped. I'm not the vegan, tree-hugging homosexual many conservatives think I am, either. Nor am I the "elitist snob," to quote your own accusation in one of the two emails you sent. Please practice what you preach.
